Where he started
Jawand, 24, is a Chartered Accountant. Through the pandemic he was working from home, desk-bound for most of the day with snacks always within reach. Quick coffees and sugary pick-me-ups got him through the hours — and his health quietly slipped. His energy dropped, his focus faded, and the weight crept on. He’d never really trained before.
“Being a Chartered Accountant means I spend a lot of time seated at a desk, I would have snacks all around me to help me get through the day but I felt like I was getting fat and lazy, something had to change. It was the food I was eating, mostly quick sugary snacks and junk food to fuel me on. I was finding my concentration would drop and I’d opt for another sugary snack as a pick me up.”

What he wanted
He wanted a lean, athletic physique he could be proud of — real definition, broader shoulders, the abs he’d always pictured — and to feel genuinely healthier. The catch: as a practising Sikh, his diet is strictly vegetarian and plant-based, and he wasn’t sure how to build a body like that without eating meat.

How we got there
Jawand found Tanvir on Instagram. He’d seen the client transformations — but, like a lot of people, wondered whether it could really be him. He reached out, and they talked through exactly what he wanted: lean, athletic, healthier. Tanvir built him a tailored plant-based plan around his Sikh vegetarian background, made it simple to follow alongside a demanding job, and mapped out a clear road map to the date he’d hit his goal. Three focused sessions a week.

What changed
Twelve weeks later, the body he’d pictured was real. Body fat down from 17% to under 10%; bodyweight from 63kg to 56kg — leaner and visibly more muscular, not just lighter. The abs he’d always wanted, broader shoulders, clothes that fit better. And the part that matters most off-camera: sharper focus, steadier energy, and a confidence he hadn’t had before. All of it on a fully plant-based diet.

What’s next
Now Jawand can get on with reaping the rewards instead of fixating on insecurities. His advice to anyone on the fence is simple.
