Brinderjit had tried everything. Nothing ever stuck.

He’d learned to hide — behind baggy clothes, behind a drink, behind the quiet belief that this was simply how things were.

Then a photo at a family function stopped him cold. He couldn’t look away from it.

Where he started

Brinderjit had struggled with his weight for years, trying every diet going — none of them ever sticking. A London management accountant with a demanding career, he’d slowly lost belief in himself, and at his lowest was drinking to escape the reality of it.

What he wanted

Brinderjit didn’t need another crash diet. He needed to lose the weight properly and keep it off — built around a full career and a social life he didn’t want to surrender. Real results, made to fit a real life.

How we got there

Because Brinderjit was coached online, I started by mapping his entire lifestyle — when he woke, how he worked, where stress peaked in his day, how well he slept. Then I focused on the thing that had sabotaged every previous attempt: his behaviours around food. Rather than banning everything, I taught him how to manage the situations that used to derail him — family meals, functions, eating out. We built resistance training and daily step targets around his week, and folded in his own hobbies so it stayed enjoyable and sustainable.

I was able to eat out and still work towards my health goals.

Crucially, I gave him the tools to handle social engagements without derailing. Transformation never meant giving up his life; it meant learning to navigate it.

What changed

Nine months on, Brinderjit is in the best shape of his life. He’s dropped 45lbs (20kg), gone from a double-XL down to a comfortable medium, taken ten inches off his waist, and more than halved his body fat — from 30% to 13%. But the change I’m proudest of isn’t on the scale. It’s the confidence that’s blossomed: a man happy and at home in his own skin again.

What’s next

For Brinderjit, the transformation isn’t the finish line — it’s permission to start living again.
